Gob, the legendary Canadian punk band from Vancouver, BC, is a cornerstone of the punk scene, blending hook-laden sounds with an unstoppable DIY ethos. Nearing their 30th anniversary, their impact on punk remains undeniable. With six full-length albums, over 300,000 physical copies sold, Juno nominations, and Gold records under their belt, Gob’s legacy is well-earned. Following their 2014 album Apt 13, the band took a semi-hiatus as Tom Thacker pursued commitments with Sum 41, playing guitar and keyboards since 2007. Now, with Sum 41’s journey concluding, it’s time for Gob to continue their own!
