At Brakrock, we’re committed to making the festival as sustainable as possible. A lot goes on behind the scenes, but our main focus is on the areas where you can really make a difference. With just a few simple actions, you can help us keep the festival cleaner and better for everyone.

We know you love the ’90s, but smoking? That’s ’90s the wrong way. If you do smoke, grab a free pocket ashtray at the entrance and drop your butts there.

Brakrock is right on the cycling junction and Brussels–Antwerp bike highway, just minutes from the festival. Direct trains from Antwerp and Brussels stop nearby, so getting there by public transport is easy.

We focus as much as possible on organic and fair-trade products. We highly recommend them because they’re not only healthy but also really tasty.

You can rent bikes of Donkey Republic at the entrance of Duffel station. Free car parking, the campsite, and the festival entrance are all within easy walking distance — though biking gets you there a bit faster.

Always dispose of your waste in the designated recycling and trash stations.

Everyone’s welcome at Brakrock. Have fun without limits, but always respect your fellow festival-goers. If you have any questions or don’t feel comfortable, just talk to a Brakrock team member or stop by the info stand.

In recognition of its efforts, Brakrock Ecofest won the GroeneventAward in 2013 and 2016. The competition is organized by OVAM.
